If you are paying cash please feel free to walk in to our location and make the payment there. FSA card payment is also available! We are allowing walk-ins to make their appointments on-site and pay online at the testing center to avoid spreading of COVID-19

What does it mean if I have a positive test result?

If you have a positive test result, it is very likely that you have COVID-19. Therefore, it is also likely that you may be placed in isolation to avoid spreading the virus to others. There is a very small chance that this test can give a positive result that is wrong (a false positive result). Your healthcare provider will work with you to determine how best to care for you based on your test result(s) along with your medical history, and your symptoms.

What is the difference between antigen test and PCR test?

Currently there are two types of diagnostic tests– molecular tests, such as RT-PCR tests, that detect the virus’s genetic material, and antigen tests that detect specific proteins from the virus.

What if I don't have a car?

Even though our main modality is drive-thru testing, we have a special zone for patients using on-demand or public transportation.

How can I schedule my appointment?

Appointments can be scheduled online through our scheduling platform. We offer antigen tests with results in 15 minutes and PCR tests with results in 60 minutes. Both tests are FDA approved and we provide certified results for traveling purposes.

What is a PCR test?

As per Mayo Clinic, the PCR test also called a molecular test, “detects genetic material of the virus using a lab technique called polymerase chain reaction (PCR). A fluid sample is collected with a nasal swab or a throat swab, or you may spit into a tube to produce a saliva sample. Results may be available in minutes”

Is this test accepted by airlines?

Every airline has its own requirements. Please check with your airlines and country requirements for the proper test to be performed.

I don't know which test is needed for the country I'm visiting

Please click here to visit the Sitata tool to get the latest traveling requirements for each country.

How much is the test?

The cost of the antigen test is $69.99 and the PCR test is $145. The reason we have to charge for the test is to be able to provide rapid results for people who need them right away. The average turnaround time for testing sites in Florida is 2-3 days vs PHMP’s 15 to 60 minutes.

What is an Antigen test?

As per Mayo Clinic, the COVID-19 antigen test “detects certain proteins in the virus. Using a nasal swab to get a fluid sample, antigen tests can produce results in minutes. A positive antigen test result is considered accurate when instructions are carefully followed…” That’s why at A & B Pharmacy our tests are performed only by experienced pharmacists.

Where are you located?

Our testing site is located at 19533 NW 57TH AVENUE, MIAMI GARDENS,FL,33024

What does it mean if I have a negative test result?

A negative test result means that proteins from the virus that causes COVID-19 were not found in your sample. It is possible for this test to give a negative result that is incorrect (false negative) in some people with COVID-19. This means that you could possibly still have COVID-19 even though the test is negative. If your test result is negative, your healthcare provider will consider the test result together with all other aspects of your medical history (such as symptoms, possible exposures, and geographical location of places you have recently traveled) in deciding how to care for you. The amount of antigen in a sample may decrease the longer you have symptoms of infection. Specimens collected after you have had symptoms for more than seven days may be more likely to be negative compared to a molecular assay. It is important that you work with your healthcare provider to help you understand the next steps you should take.
